Ancient Corrupted Tree

Slumbering with the remains of a shrine, lies a great tree. It was once a place of beauty, now the shrine - and it's flora are becoming taken over by a malevolent corruption. 

This key art piece and it's additional concept work (found in the downloads due to file size!) were part of a mentorship that I recently worked on. For the mentorship, I wanted to focus on improving my key art, thumbnail techniques and general concept design!
